Born and raised in Saskatchewan, Barret has worked in the sports industry for over 30 years in both management and coaching roles across hockey, cycling, and football on a global stage. His leadership has been recognized through several Coach of the Year accolades and has led a number of championship winning teams.

Barret is a proud recipient of a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership with distinction from Trinity Western University.

He and his wife Bridget live in Caronport. They enjoy spending time with their three sons, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter.
