Bronwyn Eyre Acclaimed as 2024 Saskatchewan Party Candidate for Saskatoon Stonebridge July 10, 2023

SASKATOON, Saskatchewan – Tonight, Bronwyn Eyre was acclaimed as the Saskatchewan Party’s nominated candidate for Saskatoon Stonebridge in the 2024 provincial election.

“I’d like to thank the members of our party who have supported me since 2016,” Eyre said. “I’m looking forward to meeting with constituents throughout Saskatoon Stonebridge as we head towards the next election.”

Eyre is ready to work alongside Premier Scott Moe and the Saskatchewan Party team leading up to the election in 2024.

“Despite challenges across Canada and around the world, Saskatchewan has seen remarkable growth,” Eyre said. “We are focused on continuing that growth, building up our province and creating new opportunities for everyone.”

Eyre was elected MLA for Saskatoon Stonebridge-Dakota in 2016 and was re-elected in 2020. Eyre has served as Minister of Advanced Education, Minister of Education, Minister of Energy and Resources, Minister responsible for the Status of Women, and Minister responsible for SaskEnergy and SaskWater. She currently serves as Minister of Justice and Attorney General.

Before entering politics, Eyre worked as a radio broadcaster, columnist, and university lecturer. She also served as a Saskatoon public school board trustee. She attended McGill University and the University of Saskatchewan, where she graduated in Law in 1996.

With Eyre’s nomination, the Saskatchewan Party has nominated 8 candidates for the 2024 provincial election.
