Dana Skoropad Nominated in Arm River October 23, 2019

Craik, SK – Tonight, Dana Skoropad won the nomination to be the Saskatchewan Party’s candidate in Arm River for the 2020 provincial election. Skorpoad defeated one other candidate vying for the nomination.

“Thank you to the members that came out to support me tonight, but more importantly thank you to everyone that supports the Saskatchewan Party in the constituency of Arm River,” said Skoropad.

Skorpoad thanked outgoing and longtime MLA Greg Brkich for his service to the constituency, the Saskatchewan Party and to the province.

“We have had great representation in this part of the province for a long time, and I look forward to continuing that tradition.”

Skoropad said he’s looking forward to getting to work with Premier Scott Moe and continuing to provide strong leadership on behalf of the Saskatchewan Party.

“Premier Moe is one of the strongest leaders we’ve seen in Canada in recent memory, and we definitely need him more than ever right now as we continue to fight the Liberal carbon tax and advocate for our farmers and agriculture industry.”

“Sadly, on the other side of the aisle we have Ryan Meili and the NDP who continue to show weak leadership by supporting a carbon tax, opposing pipelines, and pledging to run deficit budgets for years to come. Saskatchewan will be in deep trouble if Meili and the NDP ever get elected here.”

“I’m looking forward to the provincial election in a year, and can’t wait to get working on behalf of the constituents of Arm River.”

Skoropad and his wife Terrill and two sons, Noah and Sol, live on their family farm just south of Chamberlain.
