Daryl Cooper Acclaimed as Saskatchewan Party Candidate for Saskatoon Eastview June 09, 2019

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: June 6, 2019

SASKATOON – Daryl Cooper was acclaimed as the Saskatchewan Party Nominated Candidate representing the constituency of Saskatoon Eastview for the 2020 provincial election.

“It is truly my honour to stand before you tonight as your nominated Saskatchewan Party Candidate.” Cooper said, “My goal over the next few months is to reach out to everyone in our constituency. We have a wide variety of people who live here and I want to get to know the issues that are important to you.”

Cooper recently retired from a 38 year career in the financial sector. He grew up on a family farm near Saskatoon and spent many years as a farm hand and labourer before moving into finance. He worked as a bank teller, executive and was also a business owner. His motivation for running is to ensure that his children and grandchildren have every opportunity to grow and succeed in Saskatchewan.

"We currently have a Saskatchewan Party government that provides a welcome mat for businesses in our province” Cooper said, “Together, we need to keep the momentum going that we began in 2007 and never go back to failed policies of the NDP. I want to be a familiar face in Saskatoon Eastview. I look forward to the opportunity to serve as your MLA.”

Cooper has five grown children and one grandchild and lives in Saskatoon.

With this nomination, the Saskatchewan Party has nominated 38 candidates for the 2020 provincial election.

The next nomination meeting will be held in Prince Albert Northcote on June 10, 2019.
