FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: May 15, 2019

Saskatoon, SK – Rylund Hunter won a contested nomination to become the Saskatchewan Party nominated candidate for Saskatoon Meewasin for the 2020 provincial election.

“Thank you for coming and participating in this nomination meeting tonight.” Hunter said, “I am excited for what is ahead and ready to work on your behalf to get our constituency back from the NDP in 2020.”

Hunter is currently a lawyer with McDougall Gauley. In addition, he runs a business called ‘Astro Jump’ which provides entertainment for youth and children in Saskatoon and the surrounding area.

“I decided to run for this nomination as a way of giving back to this constituency.” Hunter said, “I had the incredible fortune of starting my career during a time of prosperity in Saskatchewan. I credit that in large part to the fact we had a Saskatchewan Party government at the time. I want that same opportunity to be there for the next generation.”

“I’m excited to work alongside Premier Scott Moe.” Hunter said, “He is a humble and hard-working person and I admire his leadership of both the Party and the province. I’m ready to stand up for this constituency and hope to be a voice for them on the government side of the house come the election.”

With this nomination, the Saskatchewan Party has nominated 37 candidates for the 2020 provincial election.

The next nomination meeting will be held in Saskatoon Eastview on June 5th, 2019.
