FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: December 7, 2018

Saskatoon, SK – Eric Olauson was acclaimed as the Saskatchewan Party Candidate for the constituency of Saskatoon University for the 2020 provincial election.

“I am excited to continue the work we have already started” Olauson said. “Representing the constituency of Saskatoon University since 2016 has been a privilege, and I will work hard to earn the support of people in the lead up to the 2020 election.”

Olauson currently serves as the Legislative Secretary to the Minister of Park’s Culture and Sport and as the government caucus chair, a position that is elected by Saskatchewan Party caucus members. Prior to winning in the 2016 election, he served as a city councillor for Saskatoon’s Ward 8.

“Following the election of our government in 2007, Saskatoon has grown so much.” said Olauson. “We’ve invested in new elementary schools, new bridges, and the new Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital, which is scheduled to open late next year. I look forward to continuing to stand up for the people of Saskatoon University and all of Saskatchewan.”

With this nomination, the Saskatchewan Party has nominated a total of 15 candidates for the next provincial election.

The next nomination will be held in the constituency of Cypress Hills on December 10, 2018.
