Sean Wilson Wins Contested Nomination in Canora-Pelly October 17, 2023

CANORA, SK – Tonight, Sean Wilson won a contested nomination to be the Saskatchewan Party’s candidate for Canora-Pelly in the 2024 provincial election. He defeated one other candidate.

“I want to thank everyone who took the time to come to Canora tonight to support me,” Wilson said. “It’s very humbling and I look forward to representing the constituents of Canora-Pelly in the next election.”

Since 2016, Wilson has served as the Mayor of Buchanan. He has also served as Division 3 Councillor for the RM of Buchanan and Deputy Reeve.

In addition to his public service, Wilson has extensive experience in the construction industry and currently serves as a site/general manager of Venture Construction Inc.

From 2012-2014, Wilson served as Chairman of the Saskatchewan Heavy Construction Association. He has also served as a member of the Canora Rural Public Utility Board, the Parkland Regional Waste Management Board, and the Civil Infrastructure Council Corporation.

Wilson resides in Buchanan with his wife Renee.

The Saskatchewan Party has now nominated 25 candidates ahead of the 2024 provincial election.
