Tim McLeod Acclaimed as 2024 Saskatchewan Party Candidate for Moose Jaw North October 30, 2023

MOOSE JAW, SK – Tim McLeod has been acclaimed as the Saskatchewan Party candidate for Moose Jaw North in the 2024 provincial election.

“I want to give a huge thanks to the people of Moose Jaw North,” McLeod said. “I humbly ask for your support again as we head into the next provincial election.”

Tim McLeod was elected as the MLA for Moose Jaw North in the 2020 provincial election. He currently serves as Saskatchewan’s Minister of Mental Health and Addictions, Seniors and Rural and Remote Health.

McLeod has previously served as Provincial Secretary and Legislative Secretary to the Premier, as a member of the Treasury Board, the cabinet Committee on Government Operations, the Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Affairs and Justice, and as the government representative on the Wakamow Valley Authority Board.

After earning his Juris Doctor in Law in 2004, McLeod practiced law at Chow McLeod, Barristers and Solicitors in Moose Jaw. He has also served as chair of the Prairie South School Board, on the University of Saskatchewan Senate, the Board of Governors for the Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers Association, and as president of the Moose Jaw and Area Bar Association.

McLeod and his wife, Tenielle, have three kids and live in the Moose Jaw North constituency.

With McLeod’s nomination, the Saskatchewan Party has now nominated 27 candidates for the 2024 election.
