Warren Kaeding Acclaimed as 2024 Saskatchewan Party Candidate for Melville-Saltcoats October 23, 2023

ESTERHAZY, SK – Warren Kaeding has been acclaimed as the Saskatchewan Party candidate for Melville-Saltcoats in the 2024 provincial election.

“It’s an honour to represent the good, hard-working people of Melville-Saltcoats,” Kaeding said. “I will continue working hard to earn your support as we move towards the provincial election next year.”

Kaeding was first elected as the MLA for Melville-Saltcoats in the 2016 provincial election and was re-elected in 2020. Kaeding has served the province as the Minister of Environment, Minister of Government Relations, Minister of First Nations, Metis and Northern Affairs and Minister Responsible for Rural and Remote Health as well as Seniors. 

Before entering politics, Kaeding worked as a territory manager for Hoechst AG and was also the owner/operator of Wagon Wheel Seed Corporation. In addition, he has served as the Executive Director for the Sask Farm Stewardship Association, Advisor to the Agriculture Development Fund, and Crop Inspector with Maxcor Ventures.

Kaeding has also been involved in his community as Chair of the local economic development board, elder in his church, is a member of the Lions Club, and an official with local minor hockey and baseball.

Kaeding and his wife Carla have two adult sons.

With Kaeding’s nomination, the Saskatchewan Party has now nominated 26 candidates for the 2024 election.
