Regina— MLA Warren Steinley will be nominated tonight as the Saskatchewan Party candidate in Regina Walsh Acres for the next provincial election.

REGINA— MLA Warren Steinley will be nominated tonight as the Saskatchewan Party candidate in Regina Walsh Acres for the next provincial election.

“It’s truly humbling to represent the people of Regina Walsh Acres in the Legislature and throughout Regina,” Steinley said. “It is an opportunity that I will never take lightly and I’m going to work hard to keep the people’s trust and ensure that the Saskatchewan Party gets a second term in Regina Walsh Acres.”

Steinley was first elected to the Legislature in 2011. He is a member of the Intergovernmental Affairs Caucus Policy Committee and Standing Committee, Private Bills House Committee, Caucus Management Committee and is the Chair of the New Ideas Committee.

Steinley says that retaining and recruiting young people to ensure our province can continue to grow is very important to him.

“As a new parent, I want to make sure there are opportunities for my son into the future. Our government continues with the graduate retention program and this enables us to ensure that more of our young people are going to stay in our province.”

Steinley believes that Saskatchewan must continue to move forward.

“I’m looking forward to continuing to meet with the people of Regina Walsh Acres this summer and next so that I can take their ideas to the Legislature to make sure Saskatchewan as a whole can continue to move forward and prosper.”

Steinley says that our province has continued to move in the right direction under the leadership of Premier Brad Wall and the Saskatchewan Party.

“Under Premier Brad Wall’s leadership, Saskatchewan has become known as the place to be,” Steinley said. “By maintaining a balanced budget and ensuring that we can keep taxes low we continue to make Saskatchewan the best place to live, work and play in the Dominion of Canada.”

With Steinley’s nomination as the candidate for Regina Walsh Acres, the Saskatchewan Party has now nominated three candidates for the next provincial election.
