Alex has been working in the non-profit sector since the completion of his undergraduate degree in Mathematics from the University of Regina. Specifically, Alex assists teachers with the introduction of coding and digital literacy in the classroom through the use of educational technology and robots.
During his studies at University, Alex conducted mathematical research and taught calculus labs. Alex will also begin graduate studies in Computer Science in the winter of 2021 and looks forward to continuing his work in advancing digital literacy in Regina and Saskatchewan.
Prior to studying mathematics and teaching digital literacy, Alex was working as a welder in Saskatchewan. He also volunteers with the Regina Open Door Society.
