Terry Dennis Acclaimed as the Saskatchewan Party Candidate for Canora-Pelly December 14, 2018

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: December 14, 2018

Stenen, SK - Terry Dennis was acclaimed as the Saskatchewan Party Candidate for the constituency of Canora-Pelly for the 2020 provincial election.

“It’s an honour to be nominated by Saskatchewan Party members in this constituency,” said Dennis. “I’ve done my best to represent the residents of Canora-Pelly since 2016, and I will keep working hard for them in the lead up to the 2020 election, and every day following.”

Dennis pointed to several improvements in the Canora-Pelly constituency since the 2007 election as one of the reasons he’s proud to represent the Saskatchewan Party.

“Before 2007, Canora-Pelly was struggling; it was difficult to keep doctors in the constituency, the roads were terrible and there was a general sense that the NDP didn’t care about the people here,” said Dennis. “Now, people in Canora-Pelly know that the Saskatchewan Party stands up for them and their interests. There are more doctors and reliable healthcare in the constituency, the highways have been improved and people here are as optimistic as they’ve ever been for the future of our great province.”

Prior to being elected in 2016, Dennis served as mayor and as a town councillor for the Town of Canora, and was an active volunteer in the community. Terry and his wife Lorri have two daughters and a son.

With this nomination, the Saskatchewan Party has nominated a total of 17 candidates for the next provincial election.
