Marv Friesen was elected as the MLA for Saskatoon Riversdale in the 2020 provincial election.

He currently serves as a member on the Meewasin Valley Authority and the Public Accounts Committee.

Marv grew up in Riversdale and worked in the community for many years as a small business owner. As a Journeyman Automotive Technician, Marv likes to build custom cars in his spare time. He has been helping kids for over 30 years through various community organizations.

Marv and his fiancée Robyn have six children and three grandchildren.
