Ghislaine McLeod Wins Contested Nomination in Saskatoon University-Sutherland
March 26, 2024SASKATOON, SK – Tonight, Ghislaine McLeod won a contested nomination to be the Saskatchewan Party’s candidate for Saskatoon University-Sutherland in the 2024 provincial election. She defeated one other candidate.
“Thank you for being here tonight and for your support,” McLeod said. “I am proud of the community we have here in Saskatoon and will be working hard to earn the support of everyone living in our constituency.”
Born and raised in Saskatoon, McLeod owns Capital G Communications, an independent consulting company. She brings 25 years’ experience as a strategic advisor and business communicator with corporate, public sector and non-profit organizations across the province. McLeod is a proud alumna of the University of Saskatchewan and holds an MBA from Royal Roads University.
McLeod currently sits as a director of HelpOne, a charity that serves school-aged children across Saskatoon. She has served on various boards including the Saskatoon Regional Health Authority, The Saskatoon Club and the JCVC Volleyball Club. For the past four years, McLeod has been the President of the Saskatchewan Party Constituency Association for Saskatoon University-Sutherland.
McLeod and her husband Bruce Rempel live in Saskatoon and take great pride in their four adult children and their families.
The Saskatchewan Party has now nominated 43 candidates for the 2024 provincial election.
