Joe Hargrave Acclaimed as the Saskatchewan Party Candidate for Prince Albert Carlton November 06, 2018

Prince Albert, SK  – Joe Hargrave was acclaimed as the Saskatchewan Party Candidate for the constituency of Prince Albert Carlton for the upcoming provincial election.

“I am proud to stand before you tonight as your Saskatchewan Party candidate for 2020” said Hargrave, “I am proud of the record we have built since 2007 and I am ready to continue to serve the people of my constituency as your Candidate.”

Hargrave was first elected in the 2016 provincial election. Since becoming MLA, Hargrave has served as the Minister responsible for SaskEnergy and SaskTel and currently sits as the Minister of Crown Investments Corporation and Minister Responsible for SGI.

In September of 2018 Hargrave was awarded the MADD Canada Citizen of Distinction Award for leadership in reducing impaired driving in Saskatchewan.

“I am looking forward to continue to work with our Premier, Scott Moe, and stand up for Saskatchewan” Hargrave stated, “We have and will continue to work on behalf of all Saskatchewan people to make the necessary strides and increase enforcement and awareness of the damages of impaired driving.”

Hargrave has lived in and given back to his community in Prince Albert. Hargrave was the former owner and operator of Riverside Auto Group in Prince Albert and is involved with the local Rotary Club, Board of Police Commissioners for Prince Albert and was a previous member of Community Futures.

Hargrave and his wife Fran live in Prince Albert and have four children and six grandchildren.

With this nomination, the Saskatchewan Party has nominated a total of 10 candidates for the next provincial election.

The next nomination meeting will be held in the constituency of Saskatoon Churchill-Wildwood on November 6, 2018.
