It is hard to believe, in the birthplace of medicare, that Saskatchewan had the worst surgical wait times in Canada under the NDP. 52 hospitals were closed and 1,200 long-term care beds were eliminated.
Today, under the leadership of Premier Brad Wall, we now have the shortest surgical wait times in the nation. We’ve built new hospitals, we’re building the first Saskatchewan Children’s Hospital, we’re adding 15 new long-term care facilities and investing record amounts in health care capital.
Let's never go back to the way it used to be under the NDP.
