The best November ever

November 2022 job numbers were released this week, and Saskatchewan added 11,800 jobs.

Saskatchewan has set several record highs for the month of November:

  • Saskatchewan Employment: 574,300
  • Saskatchewan Full-Time Employment: 464,900
  • Saskatchewan Female Employment: 271,000
  • Off-reserve Indigenous Employment: 61,300
  • Off-reserve Indigenous Full-time Employment: 50,400

That's growth that works for everyone!


Here's what's happening in Saskatchewan this week:

👪 The $500 Saskatchewan Affordability Tax Credit cheques are in the mail — if you're over the age of 18 and filed your income taxes for 2021, you should receive yours soon. 

📈 Our population just hit 1.2 million, an all-time high — and a clear sign that Saskatchewan is the best place to live, work, and raise a family! 

🚜 We just introduced the Saskatchewan Firearms Act to protect law-abiding hunters, farmers, and firearms owners from attacks from the Trudeau—NDP coalition. 

🖼️ Former Premier Brad Wall had his official portrait installed at the legislature — congratulations Brad! 

💕 Our government announced new Overdose Outreach Teams to help those struggling with addictions get the help they need.
