Jeremy Cockrill Acclaimed as 2024 Saskatchewan Party Candidate for The Battlefords
July 20, 2023NORTH BATTLEFORD, Saskatchewan – Jeremy Cockrill has been acclaimed as the Saskatchewan Party’s nominated candidate for The Battlefords in the 2024 provincial election.
“I’d like to thank the great people of The Battlefords for their continued support,” Cockrill said. “I look forward to being your candidate in 2024, as we work to grow our province and create more opportunities for everyone.”
Cockrill was elected as the MLA for The Battlefords in 2020. He currently serves as Minister of Highways and Minister responsible for Saskatchewan Water Security Agency.
“It is an honour to wake up every day and play a role in making the Battlefords and Saskatchewan the best place to live, work, and raise a family,” Cockrill said. “Over the last decade and more, our government has made great progress to improve Saskatchewan - but there is always more to do to grow our province. Let’s keep going!”
Prior to his election, Cockrill was involved in the management of a family business in North Battleford. He also worked in the agriculture and agrifood sectors in British Columbia.
Cockrill and his wife Meagan live in Battleford.
With Cockrill’s nomination, the Saskatchewan Party has nominated 10 candidates for the 2024 provincial election.
