Jeremy Harrison Acclaimed as 2024 Saskatchewan Party Candidate for Meadow Lake June 26, 2023

MEADOW LAKE, SK  – Tonight, Jeremy Harrison was acclaimed as the Saskatchewan Party Candidate for the constituency of Meadow Lake in the 2024 provincial election. 

“It’s an honour to represent the Saskatchewan Party in Meadow Lake”, Harrison said. “I’d like to thank my constituents for the trust you’ve placed in me, and I will continue working hard to earn your support in the next election.”

Harrison was first elected to the Saskatchewan Legislature in the 2007 provincial election and re-elected in the 2011, 2016 and 2020 elections. Harrison currently serves as Minister of Trade and Export Development, Minister of Immigration and Career Training, Innovation Saskatchewan, Tourism Saskatchewan and Government House Leader. He is a member of the Privileges and House Services Committee and serves on the Board of Internal Economy.

“Saskatchewan has what the world needs,” said Harrison. “We supply food, fuel and fertilizer to over 150 countries around the world, and I’m confident that our exports will continue to grow well into the future.” 

Harrison has served in various cabinet roles including, Minister of Municipal Affairs, Minister of Enterprise Saskatchewan, Minister Responsible for Immigration, Jobs, Skill and Training, Minister of the Economy and Minister responsible for Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority.

Harrison and his wife Alaina have 2 children. 

With this nomination, the Saskatchewan Party has nominated a total of 4 candidates for the 2024 provincial election.
