Jim Reiter Acclaimed as 2024 Saskatchewan Party Candidate for Rosetown-Delisle December 04, 2023

ROSETOWN, SK – Tonight, Jim Reiter was acclaimed as the Saskatchewan Party nominated candidate for Rosetown-Delisle in the 2024 provincial election.

“I am humbled by the support I’ve received in seeking another term as your MLA,” Reiter said. “I’m excited to meet with constituents new and old as we approach the next election.”

Reiter was first elected in 2007 and was re-elected in the 2011, 2016 and 2020 provincial elections. He currently serves as the Minister of Energy and Resources.

Previously, Reiter has served as Minister of Highways and Infrastructure, Minister of Government Relations, Minister of First Nations, Metis, and Northern Affairs, Minister responsible for SaskEnergy and SaskTel, Minister of Health, Minister of SaskBuilds and Procurement, Minister Responsible for the Public Service Commission, and Minister Responsible for Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority.

Before entering provincial politics, Reiter was the Administrator for the RM of Marriott and the RM of Pleasant Valley. Among his educational accomplishments is a Senior Certificate in Local Government Administration from the University of Regina. He also served six years on the University of Regina Senate. Reiter has also served his community as a Justice of the Peace and Marriage Commissioner.

Reiter and his wife Bonnie reside in Rosetown.

The Saskatchewan Party has now nominated 32 candidates in advance of the 2024 election.
