Greg Lawrence Acclaimed as the Saskatchewan Party Candidate for Moose Jaw Wakamow

Moose Jaw, SK – Greg Lawrence was acclaimed as the Saskatchewan Party candidate for the Moose Jaw Wakamow constituency for the 2020 provincial election. Lawrence is the current MLA for Moose Jaw Wakamow and was elected in both the 2011 and 2016 provincial elections.
“Thank you to all of the Saskatchewan Party members here in Moose Jaw Wakamow” Lawrence said, “Representing this constituency is a terrific honour and I am looking forward for the opportunity to keep working on your behalf.”
Lawrence noted that the Saskatchewan Party government has invested significantly in Moose Jaw since 2007, including the building of the brand new F.H. Wigmore Hospital (which has Saskatchewan’s only hospital-based MRI machine outside of Saskatoon or Regina) and contributing to the new Mosaic Place complex.
“We will work hard to ensure Saskatchewan continues on a path of growth so that we can invest in communities like Moose Jaw all across our province” Lawrence stated, “I am proud to say I stand with the Saskatchewan Party Team and Premier Scott Moe as we go to the doorsteps in the months leading up to the election. We have more work to do, but we have made significant headway in making this the best province to live in.”
Lawrence currently serves as the Government Whip, sits on the Cabinet Committee on Human Services, serves as Legislative Secretary for the Minister of Social Services and is a member of the House Services Committee and the Privileges Committee. He is also Saskatchewan’s Military Liaison.
With this nomination, there are now 23 Saskatchewan Party candidates nominated for the 2020 provincial election.
The next nomination date is set for tonight, February 5, 2019, in the constituency of Regina Wascana Plains.
