Leaked NDP Platform: A Risk We Can't Afford

A leaked copy of Ryan Meili’s platform admits the NDP have no plan to balance the budget. Their platform says, ‘going forward we will work with an expert panel to plan our path back to balanced budgets.’

Not good enough, Mr. Meili. Kicking it down the road to an expert panel making a plan at some undetermined point in the future does not show leadership. Saskatchewan voters deserve to see your plan now.

The reality is the NDP has no plan to balance the budget. Their reckless spending would lead to increased deficits and higher taxes down the road.

They are a risk we can’t afford. Using the NDP’s own numbers, which are questionable, they would add $2.75 billion in deficits over the next four fiscal years.
