Lisa Lambert Acclaimed as 2024 Saskatchewan Party Candidate for Saskatoon Churchill-Wildwood June 19, 2023

SASKATOON, SK  – Tonight, Lisa Lambert was acclaimed as the 2024 Saskatchewan Party Candidate for Saskatoon Churchill-Wildwood.

“I’d like to thank the constituents of Saskatoon Churchill-Wildwood for your continued support” Lambert said, “I look forward to meeting you on the doorsteps this summer.”

Lambert was first elected in the 2016 provincial election and was re-elected in 2020. She has served as Deputy Whip, a member of the House Services Committee, the  Public Accounts Committee, the Crown and Central Agencies Committee, the Intergovernmental Affairs and Justice Committee, and as a board member of Wanuskewin Heritage Park. Lambert also served as a Legislative Secretary to the Minister of Education (Curriculum Development and Consultation).

“Saskatoon has grown so much since 2007, and there are so many exciting things on the horizon” Lambert said, “We’ve met some challenges in recent years, but under the leadership of Premier Moe, Saskatchewan is on track to lead the nation in economic growth.”

Prior to becoming an MLA, Lambert worked at CTV Saskatoon for over 30 years and was president of the CTV Staff Association. She served four terms as a Catholic school board trustee and was selected to serve on two advisory groups for the Saskatchewan School Boards Association.

As a ten-year member of her community association, Lambert filled many roles, including one term as president, and has taken a lead role in annual door-to-door canvass campaigns for the Heart & Stroke Foundation and the Canadian Cancer Society. Lisa received the President's Award of Distinction from Volunteer Saskatoon in 2005.

Lambert and her husband, Jim, have three daughters and five grandchildren.

Lambert is the second Saskatchewan Party candidate to be nominated for the 2024 provincial election, the first being Premier Scott Moe.
