Megan Patterson Acclaimed as 2024 Saskatchewan Party Candidate for Moose Jaw Wakamow February 01, 2024

MOOSE JAW, SK – Tonight, Megan Patterson was acclaimed as the Saskatchewan Party nominated candidate for Moose Jaw Wakamow in the 2024 provincial election.

“It’s an honour to be running in my hometown, thank you for your support,” Patterson said. “We live in a vibrant, growing community and I will be working hard to make sure we are well represented in our Legislature.”

Born and raised in Moose Jaw, Patterson is currently a Business Instructor at the local Saskatchewan Polytech campus.

Patterson graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Commerce Degree in 2000. She soon accepted a job with a Fortune 500 company in Toronto where she spent the next thirteen years as an Account Executive and Canadians Operations Manager. In 2013, Patterson returned to Saskatchewan with her husband to raise their family. She worked at SaskPower as an Energy Advisor for the next seven years. In 2020, Patterson earned her executive MBA from the University of Regina, and completed the Canadian Securities Course.

In addition, Patterson is also a director of the Moose Jaw Chamber of Commerce and MUNCH Catering and Hunger in Moose Jaw. She is also the Community Producer of Discoverability, an Access NOW series focused on building disability awareness.

Patterson and her husband reside in Moose Jaw with their three sons and two dogs.

The Saskatchewan Party has now nominated 37 candidates ahead of the 2024 provincial election.
