A Risk We Can’t Afford: The $4 Billion Hole in Ryan Meili’s Platform October 15, 2020

Ryan Meili keeps claiming there are “cuts” in the Saskatchewan Party platform.

As Premier Scott Moe explained during last night’s debate, the only cuts in the Saskatchewan Party platform are:

  • cutting your SaskPower bill;
  • cutting the cost of your home renovations; and
  • cutting the small business tax.

Instead of making false claims about the Saskatchewan Party platform, Ryan Meili needs to explain the $4 billion that he failed to account for in his own platform, and how he will raise your taxes to pay for it.

When pressed by reporters, Meili said “They’re going to make up numbers to try to scare people.”

Frankly, what is scary is that Ryan Meili didn’t bother to cost his own platform. It’s scary that he’ll raise your taxes to pay for it.

Ryan Meili and the NDP are a risk we can’t afford.
