Muhammad Fiaz Acclaimed as 2024 Saskatchewan Party Candidate for Regina Pasqua

REGINA, SK  – Tonight, Muhammad Fiaz was acclaimed as the 2024 Saskatchewan Party Candidate for Regina Pasqua.

“I would like to thank my constituents for their continued support,” Fiaz said. “It has been an honour serving Regina Pasqua since 2016, and I will work hard to be your voice in the legislature in 2024.”

Fiaz was first elected in the 2016 provincial election and re-elected in 2020. He currently serves as Chair of Committees and as a member of the Standing Committee on Human Services.

“I am proud of what our party has accomplished since 2007,” Fiaz said. “Saskatchewan is growing at a record pace, and the future looks very bright for our province.”

Fiaz was born and raised in Pakistan where he pursued his education, receiving a Bachelor of Commerce degree. Fiaz and his family immigrated to Toronto in 1995. In 2008, Fiaz chose to move to Saskatchewan – to what he fondly calls "the land of opportunity" – where he worked as a road safety consultant for SGI.

Fiaz became an active member of his community by volunteering his time with Humanity First and by coaching in the South Regina Community Soccer Program.

Fiaz lives in Regina with his wife Attia and three boys.

The Saskatchewan Party has now nominated 3 candidates for the 2024 provincial election.
