Olugbenga Fakoyejo Wins Contested Nomination in Saskatoon Riversdale
August 22, 2024SASKATOON, SK – Tonight, Olugbenga (Olu) Fakoyejo won a contested nomination to be the Saskatchewan Party’s candidate for Saskatoon Riversdale in the 2024 provincial election. He defeated one other candidate.
“I am honored and humbled by the opportunity to serve and represent our community as the Saskatchewan Party Candidate,” Fakoyejo said. “I look forward to connecting with every voter on their doorstep, and working hard to represent Saskatoon Riversdale in the upcoming election.”
Fakoyejo holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Economics, alongside certifications in investment, financial planning, climate risk, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) from the Canadian Securities Institute, the Investment Funds Institute of Canada, and the Corporate Finance Institute. He currently works as a Senior Financial Advisor with a major financial institute.
Fakoyejo and his wife have three sons.
The Saskatchewan Party has now nominated 59 candidates for the 2024 provincial election.
