Parminder Singh Wins Contested Nomination in Saskatoon Chief Mistawasis
May 21, 2024SASKATOON, SK – Tonight, Parminder Singh won a contested nomination to be the Saskatchewan Party’s candidate for Saskatoon Chief Mistawasis in the 2024 provincial election. He defeated one other candidate.
“Thank you for coming out tonight and thank you for your support,” Singh said. “I’m incredibly honoured to represent Saskatoon Chief Mistawasis as your candidate and will be working hard to be your next MLA.”
Originally from India, Singh pursued his academic journey earning an MBA in Finance and Marketing before furthering his studies in Kitchener, Ontario. He moved to Saskatoon in 2011.
Singh is currently a branch manager at Curo Canada. He also serves as Treasurer of the Sikh Temple (West), Saskatoon and as a member-at-large for the Saskatchewan Party Martensville-Blairmore constituency association. He believes in inclusive and progressive governance, rooted in the conviction that every voice matters.
Singh lives in Saskatoon with his wife Rupinder and their 2 children.
The Saskatchewan Party has nominated a total of 49 candidates for the next provincial election.
