La Loche— Phil Elliott will be nominated Tuesday as the Saskatchewan Party candidate in Athabasca for the next provincial election.

Elliott is a self-employed heavy equipment operator, as well as an Electronic Technician. Phil has been involved in the community, sitting on many local boards, including youth, recreation, education, health, and economic development.  He is married and has one daughter and three grandchildren.

“Athabasca needs good representation in Regina,” Elliott said. “Our opportunities for growth, investments, and partnerships are too valuable to leave in the hands of someone else.”

Elliott believes that the Saskatchewan Party team and policies are moving the province forward.

“I’m proud to be a part of the team of women and men led by Premier Brad Wall,” Elliott said. “I am honoured to represent the Sask Party for the constituents of Athabasca and I hope that I will be able to do so in Regina after the next provincial election.”

With Elliott’s nomination as the candidate for Athabasca, the Saskatchewan Party has nominated 60 candidates for the next provincial election.
