Nadine Wilson Acclaimed as Saskatchewan Party Candidate for Saskatchewan Rivers January 15, 2019

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: January 15, 2019

Buckland, SK – Nadine Wilson was acclaimed as the Saskatchewan Party candidate for the Saskatchewan Rivers constituency for the 2020 provincial election. Wilson is the current MLA for Saskatchewan Rivers, and was elected in the 2007, 2011, and 2016 elections.

“Thank you first and foremost to members in Saskatchewan Rivers for your support and faith in me,” said Wilson. “It is an honour to represent you in the next election, and I look forward to being able to continue to work on your behalf for what I believe is the best constituency in Saskatchewan.”

Continuing a long career of public service, Wilson currently serves as the Provincial Secretary and Legislative Secretary to Premier Scott Moe. She pointed to several investments in Saskatchewan since 2007 as one of the reasons she wanted to run again.

“The fact is, Saskatchewan is better now than it was when the NDP were in government,” said Wilson. “There are more doctors, nurses, and better highways – especially in the Saskatchewan Rivers constituency. We need to ensure we keep that growth going in the years to come.”

Wilson pointed to Premier Scott Moe’s strong leadership as another reason she will run in the 2020 election.

"Scott Moe is a tremendous leader and strong voice for Saskatchewan here at home. I know his top priority will be to keep standing up for Saskatchewan.”

After Wilson’s nomination there are now 22 Saskatchewan Party candidates nominated for the 2020 election.

The next nomination meeting will be held in the constituency of Moose Jaw Wakamow on February 4, 2019
